LainDB ("we", "us") operates laindb.com. This page explains what we collect from visitors to laindb.com and from people who request access to the soft launch.

What we collect

• The email address you submit to the invite list.
• Standard request metadata when you sign up (IP address, user agent, timestamp), retained for abuse prevention.
• Aggregate, non-identifying analytics about site usage.

How we use it

We use your email for one purpose: to notify you when LainDB opens for the cohort you signed up for, and to send the launch pricing you've agreed to review. We do not enroll you in a marketing program.

How we store it

Waitlist entries are stored on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) and copied to a private Google Sheet through Google LLC (United States) so our team can manage the list. Cloudflare and Google act only as our processors, on our instructions. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising. Because these providers are based in the United States, your data may be processed there.

Retention

If you do not respond to the launch invitation within a reasonable window, or if you ask us to remove you, we delete your record. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Cookies

The site uses minimal local storage to remember that you have already joined the list, so we don't show the form twice. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Changes

If this policy materially changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
